Northwood Investors has established operating companies to manage the firm's hotel, retail and multifamily residential investments. These three platforms act in property management, asset management, and development capacities and were created with the sole purpose of maximizing the real estate returns for Northwood's investors.
Northwood Hospitality manages the hotel portfolio acquired by Northwood Investors and is directed David E. McCaslin. There are currently five properties under management by Northwood Hospitality - the New York Palace Hotel (New York City, NY), Revere Hotel (Boston, MA), Cheeca Lodge & Spa (Islamorada, FL), Parrot Key Hotel and Resort (Key West, FL), Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort (Marathon, FL), London West Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA) and Waldorf Astoria Naples (Naples, FL).
Northwood Retail is focused on maximizing the value of the Northwood Investors’ retail assets with a disciplined approach towards property management, leasing, development, construction management, accounting, and marketing activities. Managed by Greg T. Karlen, Northwood Retail currently leases and manages The Shops at Park Lane (Dallas, TX), Southlands (Denver, CO) and Freshfields Village (Kiawah Island, SC).
Northwood Residential formed a joint venture with Ravin Partners, LLC, and operates as Northwood Ravin LLC. Under the direction of David R. Ravin, Northwood Ravin LLC manages a portfolio of multifamily residential properties and development projects across the Southeastern U.S. Northwood Ravin’s current portfolio includes The Vue Charlotte on 5th (Charlotte, NC), The Apartments at Blakeney (Charlotte, NC), Alpha Mill Apartments (Charlotte, NC), Bradford (Cary, NC), Palladian Apartments (Durham, NC) and The Heights at Park Lane (Dallas, TX).
